Wellesley Street East Planters
Members of the CWNA Placemaking Committee take care of many gardens in the public realm of our community, including several of the raised planters on Wellesley Street East. Many of the plants have been provided by the City with the understanding that CWNA volunteers will maintain them.
Yonge and Wellesley (South-East corner)

Close to Yonge, beside the Scotia Bank, this is the largest of the ten planters.
Planted with hardy perennials; mulched. A number of the plants did not survive the 2020 refresh because people placed belongings on top of them. |

In addition to the planters located at the curb of Wellesley, we have also renewed the empty planters fronting Wellesley Street at Jarvis by topping them up with soil, adding mulch and planting with hardy perennials.
