The Church Yonge corridor from Queen north to Bloor is the second largest neighborhood by population in the core. It is home to the most couples without children and single person households in the core due perhaps to Ryerson University, the Village and the high rise built form of the area. The majority of residents are renters and nearly half are spending more than 30% of their income on shelter.
Community Safety is about life and limb. It is about being confident and secure in our place of residence whether owned, rented, in a condo or a co-operative and being safe whatever our mode of travel or our age.
The Toronto's Vision Zero Map is an interactive tool that displays information on historical collisions (fatalities and seriously injured) and safety measures that have been implemented under the City of Toronto’s Vision Zero program. The map was built to provide a transparent view into the historical locations of collisions in the city side by side with the suite of safety measures that are being deployed through the Vision Zero program.

Our neighbourhood is covered by 51 Division located at 51 Parliament Street. The Division has a Community Police Liaison Committee that meets regularly. In addition there exists a city-wide Gay/Lesbian-Bisexual/Transgender/Transsexual committee among other Community Consultative Committees for Aboriginal, Black, Chinese, French, Muslim, South and West Asian and Asia Pacific communities.
The west of Yonge Street is covered by with 52 Division located at 225 Dundas St East at University.to the west
